Our Story

I’m Rebekah, founder of Rebekah Scott Designs, 1948 Leather, and The Encourager Podcast. I’m passionate about fashion, design, and helping women tap into their creativity and individuality.

From a young age, I’ve always had a love for design—whether it was making outfits or accessories, I was always creating something. One Christmas, as newlyweds with no money, I gifted handmade purses made from fabric and a sewing machine I had. After receiving orders, I took a leap and launched Rebekah Scott Designs that summer. Now, I help women design custom purses that reflect their unique style with options for fabrics, colors, and hardware. The goal? To create something functional and beautiful that’s all your own.

My faith is at the heart of everything I do, and I believe that every gift I’ve been given is meant to serve others. 1 Peter 4:10 says, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” I strive to use my creativity and passion to bless others, helping them embrace their own unique gifts and express themselves.

I’m a firm believer that every woman should feel empowered to express herself, and that’s why I’ve built this business on craftsmanship, quality, and community. What started as a small idea has grown into a movement, and I’m so grateful for the amazing women who’ve joined me on this journey.

I also launched 1948 Leather to pay tribute to my dad’s legacy, blending heritage with modern design in each genuine leather piece. It’s about timeless quality, stories, and authenticity—things that last.

Between running my businesses, raising four kids, and being a wife, I understand the chaos that comes with harmonizing it all. That’s why I started The Encourager Podcast—a space where I share systems, tips, and inspiration to help women juggle their roles and find joy in everyday life.
